Domain Name Costs
We only register domains for clients of our website design and marketing work, and the domain name costs are included within the quotation.
When registering domains for clients we always use a 3rd party that does NOT:
- Charge a transfer out fee
- Charge a fee for changing the DNS (domain name server) settings
- Give out domain name information to 3rd parties for spamming.
We do not recommend using any of the 'FREE' domain services that are offered with many ISP's, hosting packages or some website designers. These usually involve a high transfer out fee, a poor service and the DNS records are sometimes badly setup. Some even have high annual renewal costs.
