The Facebook Send Button

Facebook has created a new Send button that allows users to transmit Facebook posts to other selected friends.
Users can ‘send’ a URL to individual Facebook friends or groups and also to email addresses. This means content can be shared with chosen friends rather than shared with everyone via the ‘Like’ button.
Users have the option of adding this new Send button to their Facebook account.

This is great news for businesses on Facebook as subscribers will be able to share your posts with a more targeted group of friends who may have a direct interest in your business and its products.
For instance a holiday company’s post may be forwarded by the person who receives it onto their select group of friends, with whom they wish to go on holiday.
