Facebook and Skype Join Forces

Last week Facebook launched a new video calling feature.
This live web chat capability has been enabled through a joint venture with Skype, the free video calling software application for the internet.
The video call feature is fully embedded within the Facebook platform, meaning users can now chat and network online all within one site.
This gives Facebook more functionality as it competes with new platforms such as Google+ to remain the number one social networking site.
