Multilingual Alcoa Flash Calculator

Cornish WebServices recently developed an online calculator for Alcoa, the world’s leading producer of primary and fabricated aluminium.
The complex calculator system, calles the Alcoa eValuator, was developed in Flash and translated into the Russian language.
It is used as part of Alcoa's sales function to show their customers the savings available when purchasing the new aluminium alloy, Road Tanker Shate G1.
Alcoa were so pleased with the Russian Flash Calculator that they requested that the system should also be translated into Chinese, as well as being made available in English.
Cornish WebServices performed complete translation of the database into all required foreign languages. We also took into account the different currencies needed. We created the function for base calculations to be worked out in the variety of currencies required.
